A Dallas original owned by Businessman and Philanthropist Bill Esping and his wife Heather Esping, Place at Perry’s opened in 2001 and relocated to its new home at the Gables Villa Rosa in early 2012. Critically acclaimed with top reviews for its premium steaks, seafood and top notch wine list, Place at Perry’s strives to provide fresh, local flavor to its guests. Adhering to a strict sustainability and “never ever” policy, Place at Perry’s serves meat that has never ever been given hormones, antibiotics or chemicals. Chef Jaime Corona has been with Place at Perry’s since the doors opened and has won numerous awards for his signature dishes included his coffee crusted filet mignon and brown bag apple pie.
Committed to the highest quality customer service, the restaurant also has signature features to make its atmosphere memorable and inviting. These include a state-of-the-art private dining room equipped with the latest presentation technology that will seat up to 70 guests and a centerpiece serpentine crimson bar inside near the windows. Senior director of gardens for the Dallas Arboretum Jimmy Turner installed a fragrant edible garden that graces the entry and patio and produces herbs and other vegetables that are used by the creative bar staff and Chef Jaime’s crew in the kitchen.
In the 35-foot tall rotunda, renowned Grapevine glass blower David Gappa created a one of a kind glass masterpiece that serves as a signature landmark on Cedar Springs, and couturier Michael Faircloth designed the custom uniforms for the servers and bartenders. Lovingly named as a tribute to Bill Esping’s father, Perry, the restaurant invites you to sit back, relax and enjoy a true Dallas experience.
